Euthanasia Services
When practiced at home in a pet’s familiar surroundings, euthanasia is usually a very peaceful process. Dr. Hughes and her assistant will work to make your pet and your family comfortable.
Before she begins, Dr. Hughes will explain the procedure and answer any questions you might have about how the process will work.
We begin with a sedative to calm your pet and to make sure they are not anxious. As the sedation takes effect, your family can have time together with your pet.
After your pet is sedated, Dr. Hughes will administer the euthanasia solution, and will check your pet’s vital signs to confirm their passing.
